Love your channel. As you vacuumed, I did not see you go under the bed. Just for fun, use an empty vacuum and only vacuum under the bed. You may be surprised if not shocked as to what you find. I try to vacuum under my bed at least once a month. Or the dust bunnies will Cary me away.🫠

Hey Sophie! That’s the first thing I thought of when I saw you and Jim working so well together putting together Henry’s highchair! My husband and I would’ve had to file for divorce! We cannot work together!! Also a quick suggestion, even though I’ve seen a couple people suggest getting beddies , which is a good idea too, but you could put a pool noodle under his fitted sheet and that helps kiddos not roll out of their bed! Hope you guys are doing well 💜

I don't keep a lot of stuff in my car either. A bag for when I pick up groceries is always helpful, too. I'm dreading my garage. It's pretty bad. Former owner left alot

I also keep reusable grocery bags in my car, and disinfecting wipes, a cell charger, Emery board, ☀️ glasses, paper towels in case of a spill or something on my windshield, a pen, my music CDs (yup! Still got those!). I don't have a garage 😊

I had lychee fruit in Hawaii. I think we bought it at a very colorful farmer’s market there. Yummy.

I agree Sophie. Your car is not a storage unit. I only keep my reusable grocery bags and an emergency kit. I believe the car is a big investment and you should treat it accordingly and not like a garbage can.

Awesome time of year for this before the brutal heat of summer! I imagine parking in the garage could extend the life of a vehicle by several years. If the stuff taking up space in the garage is worth significantly less than the vehicle, then decluttering is the smart way to go.

I couldn't agree with you more! I too recently was RIF'd during a mass layoff from my company and adjusting to the unemployment life. Honestly It's been hard as i'm not use to being home all the time but I am taking the time off to reflect and soak in the quality summer time I have with my kids as much as i can. I am enjoying these videos you have as it helps me to relate as well as motivate me to be more productive and continue the job/career search but doing at a good pace. I too am not keen on being a stay at home mom which is why i have followed you from the beginning on how you can managed both work and mom life being so organized and productive. Keep doing what you're doing as you are inspirational!

One thing I do keep in my car are grocery bags. Living in California we have to bring our own or have to pay 10¢ a bag and it all adds up! I got tired of forgetting them. 😂

I am a retired nurse of 37 years. I have three grown children. This has been one of my favorite videos of yours. I’ve worked part time most of my career and then full time when the kids were in college,to help with the extra bills. Mothers are torn in so many directions. No one is more critical than your own mind wondering if what you are doing is your best. Sounds like you are figuring it all out. It will all work out for the best. Good luck in your future, whatever that ends up looking like.

You’re doing great! Both my husband and I were laid off in 2023 - I was let go weeks after he started a new job- and it’s such a strange feeling. It took me a few months to find a new job but it’s so much better and I got a big raise. The best next job will come to you soon 😊 & it doesn’t have to be a forever job. You’re setting a great example for your kids!

Sorry that your vulnerability and transparency is met with judgement. I think we sometimes forget that 'influencers' owe us nothing, and they are people too. Sometimes we feel entitled to too many personal moments and project internalized societal standards onto ourselves and everyone around us. I hope you know that most of us appreciate your openness and the parts of your life you choose to share. We are all doing the best we can, especially when life is hard. Your vulnerability takes the 'perfect life' social media filter off, and allows us to feel less alone when things are tough. We're all just perpetually figuring it out, and it's pretty nice when we can do it with each other's support instead of judgement.
